The School Of Singing is a place of vocal study for all students at any age and level. We are the premiere school for vocal training. Learn how to sing on Long Island, Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Queens New York. Specializing in musical theatre, opera, art songs, audition and college preparation. The School of Singing trains each student according to their voice type to reach their desired goals.

Beginning Voice: Designed for those who have had little or no vocal training. Voice exercises, proper breathing technique and knowledge of different muscles in production of tone are emphasized. Musical theatre, traditional and art songs are taught so that the budding singer can discover how proper vocal technique can make singing easier and more enjoyable. (Private Lessons and Small Classes Offered)
All ages. Monday- Saturday, By Appointment.

Vocal Technique: Designed to prepare students for intermediate to advanced studies. Each student is grounded with the skills to above all expectations.
(Private Lessons)
9 years old and up. Monday- Saturday, By Appointment.

Voice Kids Class: Designed for ages 3-5, and 6-8 years old. This class is designed for those who have had little or no vocal training. Voice exercises, proper breathing technique and knowledge of different muscles in production of tone are emphasized. Musical theatre, traditional and art songs are taught so that the budding singer can discover how proper vocal technique can make singing easier and more enjoyable.

All Lessons

All Lessons are based upon a monthly plan.

Missed lessons are made up the same month lesson was missed. Lessons will not be carried over into the following month and will result in a lost lesson. A courtesy of at least 24 hours is expected.

Registration, Tuition, and Refund

Tuition is based upon monthly lessons.
The tuition reserves a student’s time for each week, therefore, lessons will not be prorated in the event the student misses a lesson. All lessons must be made up within the same month.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Money Orders, MasterCard, Visa, or PayPal with an additional fee.

When are payments due?

Due upon the first lesson of each month.
Please Note: No refund will be granted for students released from The School Of Singing due to disciplinary action.

Returned Checks

The School Of Singing will administer a $30.00 fee for any returned checks. Following two returned checks; we ask that all subsequent payments be made with cash, money order, or credit card.

Should I expect to pay any additional fees?

Yes, depending on the performance venue, RECITAL FEES will be due for a recital. Plenty of notice will be given for those fees and dates.

Class/Studio Policy

Please note: Parents, siblings, and friends are not permitted to visit classes or private lessons. Please understand that a student’s lesson time is a vulnerable time and he/she needs to be free of distraction for maximum progress. We have master classes, record each lessons, recitals, and showcases for parents and friends to enjoy the student’s progress.
All cell phones must be turned off before entering your lesson. No exceptions.

Dismissal

All students should be picked up when their lesson is finished. The School Of Singing is not responsible for students after their assigned lesson time.
If students are not picked up directly after their lesson their will be a $30 fee for each half hour.
